Apricots

Apricots are among the most popular summer fruits, known for their sweet taste and intense aroma. The KISSAVOS Cooperative cultivates varieties that stand out for their quality and unmatched flavor, offering fresh, juicy, and nutritious fruit.

 
 
     

 

 
 

Our Varieties

Our apricot production includes 12 varieties, differing in size and color, ranging from yellow to deep orange. The most well-known varieties are:

  • Bebekou: Large, orange-yellow fruit with sweet flesh. Ideal for spoon sweets, compotes, jams, and tarts. They ripen in June and are among the most popular in the market.
  • Diamantopoulou: Smaller, light yellow fruit with intense aroma and flavor. Preferred for fresh consumption and usually command a higher price due to their quality.

 

     
 
 

Sorting
& Packaging

After harvest, the apricots are sorted by size, color, and quality to select the best fruits. They are then packaged in specialized crates or trays, preserving their freshness and excellent appearance. The process is carried out with respect for the product and according to the highest quality standards.

 

 
     

 

 

Production Season

Apricot harvesting begins at the end of May and lasts, depending on the variety, until mid-August. The fruits are at their peak in June and July, offering maximum flavor and nutritional value.
